The FTDAO Token

A utility token. Not a promise of returns.

FTDAO grants participation rights in a project-vetting and coordination protocol. It is not a claim on pooled investment capital, and it is not a stake in any specific energy asset.

FTDAO is

  • A utility token granting participation rights in a project-vetting and coordination protocol
  • The mechanism by which network-wide standards are set and enforced
  • A governance instrument for protocol-level decisions

FTDAO is not

  • A claim on pooled investment capital or its returns
  • A direct stake in any specific energy asset, plant, or facility
  • A security representing equity or profit-sharing in FTDAO itself

Cross-chain by design

FTDAO runs on established chains rather than a chain of its own. Tokens migrating from BSC to Solana pass through a 12-month vault; locked tokens keep full governance weight throughout.

BSC BEP-20

Legacy token — no migration is forced.

Wormhole NTT

Cross-chain gateway, fixed total supply preserved.

Solana SPL

Mirrored supply, low-cost transactions.

12-month vault → Snapshot

Migrated tokens lock for 12 months; voting weight is relayed and unaffected.

Note

FTDAO's governance uses simple 1-token-1-vote, the same mechanism industry research flags as most exposed to concentrated voting power. No project has completed onboarding as of this writing. See the whitepaper, Sections 9 and 11, for the full self-assessment and risk disclosure.
